Tottenham had a rather eventful summer. Their star player Gareth Bale went to Real Madrid in a world record move, while others departed including Scott Parker, William Gallas, Tom Huddlestone and Steven Caulker.

Despite a number of top players bidding adieu to the club, Spurs have strengthened their squad significantly with the addition of some world class players.

Brazilian box-to-box midfielder Paulinho made a move to White Hart Lane first. It was followed by Nacer Chadli, Roberto Soldado, Vlad Chirches, Erik Lamela and Christian Eriksen. They all have strengthened respective departments in one way or the other.

With two months of the new season now gone, the new players are integrating well into the team and Spurs are likely to conquer further heights in Premier League and in Europe.
