Rusev has steamrolled through his opponents ever since he made his long-awaited debut on the main roster.
After running riot on NXT, he was widely tipped to enter the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal at WrestleMania XXX to kick start his career off in great fashion, but it didn’t go ahead.
But that hasn’t stopped Rusev from starting life in the WWE in great fashion. He’s defeated everyone that has stood opposite him inside the ring, whether it’s Jack Swagger or The World’s Strongest Man, Mark Henry.
As much as the fans hate them, Rusev and Lana are doing incredible work as the anti-American duo as they receive heat every single week from the patriotic American fans, possibly more than any other talent on the main roster right now.
With impressive victories under his belt, the WWE and Vince McMahon are not stopping there with Rusev.
It’s no secret that Vince is a big fan of Rusev and Lana; and last month there were also rumours that Rusev could stay unbeaten until WrestleMania 31 where he could take on a massive name.
Gold on the horizon
However the next plan for Rusev is for him to finally get his hand on a championship title.
Currently Rusev and Lana are in a programme with The Big Show; where The Big Show is being treated as the first genuine threat to Rusev and his unbeaten run; but it means when – not if – Rusev defeats The Big Show, his victory will look much more impressive.

The WWE recently issued a public apology for the flag incident on Monday Night Raw when The Big Show ripped down the Russian Flag and a match at Hell in a Cell could conclude another short feud for Rusev.
After The Big Show, Sheamus and his United States Championship are next in line for Rusev; the perfect move from the WWE.
When Rusev eventually loses, it will no doubt be against an American superstar, so you can be sure Sheamus will finally drop the United States Championship to the brute that despises the United States.
Sheamus himself has teased a feud between the two in an interview; and his style will work well with Rusev.
This is the perfect way to gain even more heat on Rusev and Lana, putting the prestigious United States Championship on the man that despises the country. A lengthy championship run by defeating challenger after challenger will make Rusev look unbeatable towards WrestleMania, and don’t be surprised if you see Rusev and Lana rename and redesign the United States Championship into something related to the Russian Federation Championship to make the American fans despise the duo even more.
