Marek Hamsik's agent has given a coy response after being asked about what the future holds for his client.
This has been reported by the Express, who have suggested that Juraj Venglos' comments on Hamsik have put a number of Premier League clubs on alert. In fact, a number of the big-boys from England's elite division have been credited with interest in the highly rated 27-year-old, with the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea seemingly interested.
The Slovakian midfielder - along with his Napoli teammates - has endured a tricky start to this campaign, with the club having been dumped out of the Champions League in the qualifying rounds.
Despite Napoli's recent improvement, Rafa Benitez's side are already eight points behind league leaders Juventus and sitting in seventh position.
So, when Venglos was asked about Hamsik's future, he responded by saying: "Future? I prefer not to talk about that.”
Hamsik - who is best when going forward - is extremely versatile and is seen as one of the key men at the Serie A outfit. Reports have previously indicated that it will take at least £20 million to prize the skilful and dynamic star away from Italy.
It appears, then, that there may well be a transfer tussle for the player's services in the near future. Free spending Manchester United may well look to add to their ranks again in the January transfer window, but fans of the Red Devils will be hoping that Louis van Gaal focuses on improving his back-line.
Arsenal and Chelsea, meanwhile, both have an array of talent in their attacking line, but may look to improve their squads as they go in search of success for this season and the foreseeable future.
With Hamsik at 27-years-old, the interested Premier League clubs would be getting a player full of experience who is approaching his best years.
