Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal wants to bring four more new players to Old Trafford in 2015.
As reported by the Daily Mail, it's been suggested that the new United boss wants to continue his spending spree over the next two transfer windows.
Since arriving at Old Trafford after this summer's World Cup, Van Gaal has certainly changed things at the club by allowing a number of players to leave. The likes of Javier Hernandez, Shinji Kagawa, Danny Welbeck and Tom Cleverley all departed under the new regime, whilst the United boss has also added greatly to his squad.
In fact, Van Gaal has already spent over £150 million by adding the likes of Angel di Maria, Daley Blind, Marcos Rojo and Co. to his ranks, but it's unlikely he's going to stop there with further additions expected.
Positions in need
And, the same report has suggested that Van Gaal has already identified the positions in need of strengthening at Old Trafford. It's certainly not surprising that the Dutchman is set to improve in the defensive area, with it being suggested that he wants to add a top-class central defender and a right back to the club.
Despite adding versatile Dutchman Blind to his ranks this past summer, it's also been suggested that Van Gaal will opt to bring another holding-midfielder to the Theatre of Dreams in 2015.
It remains to be seen as to which stars Van Gaal will swoop for in the foreseeable future, but it's likely the club will continue to be linked with the top names in elite football.
Start to the season
Manchester United have, however, made an inconsistent start to life under Van Gaal. After only securing one win in their opening five Premier League fixtures, United have won their last two fixtures which has put them into fourth spot in the league.
Next up for Van Gaal and Co. is a trip to the Hawthorns to take on West Brom on October 20.
