As WWE fans, we are used to having to endure certain moments on the live shows that are just plain stupid.
We have had a bull on the roster for a long time now in El Torito, the bull that has had its tail torn off and grown back and does little dances around the ring.
Gimmicks have always been a part of the WWE but recently, there has been a very strange rivalry between a giant bunny, mini alligator and this Monday the bull came into play.
El Torito and Mini-Gator went head to head on RAW on Monday night and that was arguably the match that went too far for most fans.
During the match, El Torito climbed on the back of mini gator and covered his head with some form of blanket.
Eventually, Heath Slater came in to try and save his reptile friend and was put in the 'Gator-roll' before El Torito picked up the win.
During the match, the live crowd actually began chanting "This is stupid" and they were not wrong.
The whole segment was clearly aimed at the younger members of the audience but it could be argued that it went too stupid even for children.
PG Era gone too far?
Many of the WWE fans do feel that the best days are behind us since the ending of the Attitude and ruthless aggression eras and commencement of the PG era.
But so far, despite the PG era giving us some fairly strange, stupid and surreal moments, they have always managed to give us a laugh, I refer you to Dean Ambrose's antics from Monday night.
But Monday's match certainly crossed the line between acceptable and too stupid and I only hope the writers actually have somewhere to go with this feud.
Stupid and they know it?
As previously mentioned, the WWE Universe clearly showed their displeasure with the match on Monday and I think the WWE listened.
For those who don't already know, the ending of every match is always uploaded on the WWE's YouTube account after the show.
However, if you were to look on their channel now and see the videos from RAW, there would be no video for the Mini-Gator and El Torito match.
Maybe it is because they don't want to upload a video where the fans chant that what they're seeing is stupid?
Maybe they didn't want to put it on their channel after realising they may have crossed the line with it?
Or maybe they just forgot to upload it?
Whatever the reason, the WWE Universe has shown that they are more intelligent than they were given credit for and we can only hope the WWE doesn't try anything like it again.
