He may be off our screens once again, but Chris Jericho will never truly be gone and having not been seen since his match with Randy Orton, Jericho has been sharing his views on some of his past rivals.
His last feud in the WWE before his current time out was with the Eater of Worlds, Bray Wyatt and it certainly had mixed reactions.
On the night that Jericho returned and interrupted the Miz's simultaneous return, he was instantly assaulted by the entire Wyatt family.
Even though the entire WWE Universe loved the segment, much of the actual rivalry was considered dry and boring.
There were of course moments that everyone loved and the feud went out on a high as the two faced off inside of a steel cage on an episode of RAW.
But during his interview, Jericho was asked if the WWE have made a mistake with their handling of Wyatt in recent months.
Jericho claimed: "I think that WWE has a plan and never tries to sabotage anybody on purpose. Why would they do that? It costs them money.
"Sometimes you work on top, sometimes you're not and when you're not, it's up to you to make your mark and get back on track again.
As for one of Jericho's former WrestleMania opponents Fandango, he was much more critical, claiming "I thought [Fandango] was kind of a one trick pony as far as his character and gimmick go.
"I think it's time to update that character and take it to another place because you can only do so much with a character like that."
A very frank assessment from Jericho but I'm sure there will be some WWE fans who disagree with his opinions.
Jericho putting on a front?
Jericho has heavily defended the WWE's usage of one of their more popular superstars but the question is, is he just putting on a front?
Jericho will feature in the WWE's European tour in November so if he actually felt the WWE have done wrong, he would be unlikely to say so.
Many in the WWE miss the Wyatt family and their unique brand of promos and perhaps, there will be some who feel that despite Jericho's claims, they have in fact handled the character wrong in the last few months.
