Huge blow for Dolphins

The Dolphins announced this morning that Moreno has been placed on injured reserve because of an ACL injury.

Moreno was a key part of the Miami rush attack and had only just returned from an injury earlier in the season, with his latest complication providing a massive blow for the AFC East team.

OKC talk Durant injury

On to the injury star NBA baller Kevin Durant suffered on Sunday, and Oklahoma City Thunder coach Scott Brooks spoke today for the first time about the blow for KD.

Durant will be out for the first month of the NBA season after he fractured his right foot. While unfortunate for OKC, coach Brooks believes the Thunder can cope with the loss.

"It's never good timing when somebody's hurt. I mean, no one's feeling sorry for us. I can honestly say I did not receive any text messages from coaches around the league hoping to postpone the season," Brooks explains in the video above.

"They're not waiting for us. But it's good that it's in training camp. There's a couple of weeks we still have to try to see how we can improve this team day by day. That's the exciting and challenging part of my job is to find those areas in the next two weeks going into the next game."

MLB playoff postponed

And finally, the race to reach the World Series took a twist on Monday after Game three of the American League Championship series was postponed due to inclement weather.

Baltimore Orioles lead Kansas City Royals 2-0 in the series, with the third game rescheduled for Tuesday night.

That's all for today, check back tomorrow for more.
