A number of the Premier League's elite clubs have been handed a major boost in pursuit of Ghana international Andre Ayew.
As reported by the Express, it's been suggested that French outfit Marseille are ready to offload the winger in the January transfer window, with the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham all seemingly interested in the player's services.
It was previously suggested that the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Co. were monitoring the 24-year-old in an attempt to bring him to England's elite division on a free transfer in the summer of 2015.
However, with the player running out of contract at Marseille, the club now seem ready to make some money on him in the winter transfer window. And it will certainly come as a boost to the Premier League sides that the French outfit are ready to offload him in a cut-price deal.
Ayew - who starred at this summer's World Cup - is extremely highly rated and looks set for a bright future in the game. With the player still a couple of years away from reaching his peak, now may prove the right time for him to make a move to England.
It remains to be seen, however, as to whether United, Liverpool, Tottenham and Arsenal swoop for him in January, or whether they wait and try and sign him for nothing next summer.
Who needs him?
It would certainly be a surprise if Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal swooped for the star, with the Red Devils already possessing an array of talent in the attacking options of the pitch. Liverpool, much like United, also added to their attacking options last summer, but Reds boss Brendan Rodgers may look to improve his side after a difficult start to this campaign.
North London duo, Arsenal and Tottenham both have a number of talented wingers at their disposal. However, with the Gunners' ongoing injury problems, Wenger may look to add further depth to his squad. Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino may also look to strengthen with his side hoping for a successful campaign.
