Utah Jazz forward Gordon Hayward has admitted that he would 'crush LeBron one-on-one' and has also said that he's the best in the game.

Best in the world?

His blog post reads as follows: "The reigning MVP, Kevin Durant? I’m LOLing. Go ahead and put him with Russell Westbrook. Throw Blake Griffin, Chris Paul and Dwight Howard in there, just for kicks. They’d still have no chance."

The casual NBA fan may have no idea who this 24-year-old small forward is, more knowledgable followers of the game will be thinking that Hayward surely has no right to consider himself the best player in the world.

Hayward certainly knows how to start a twitter storm, the Jazz star has revealed his good sense of humour as he sent out a tweet aimed to provoke a startling reaction from the general public.

Hayward tweeted out a picture of LeBron James with his quotes that explained: "One on one with LeBron James? He would get crushed. We would all be witnesses to a straight up annihilation."

The catch

The blasphemous quotes are intended for the reader to crave more of a reason for Hayward's confidence, this would inevitably lead you to his website centered around his blog, www.gordonhayward20.com/2014/10/14/best-in-the-game/.

This is where you first learn of what Hayward's talent for video games, or what his wife describes as: "PC games, Weird games like that"

Now Haywards blog post is about his skill at the game League of Legends where he truly believes that he is the greatest player in the world and lends itself to him being able to say that he would destroy the world's best basketball player, LeBron James, one on one.

Hayward describes himself as pretty humble most of the time, but his blog is used to gloat about his excellent skill at the computer game and in humorous fashion he writes about the link between NBA and League of Legends.
