Tampa Bay Buccaneers could well be on the verge of entering the trade market yet again despite the criticisms the Bucs received for their last trade.
Back in August, the Buccaneers dealt with New England Patriots and picked up Logan Mankins for a significant compensation. But now it seems like it could be the Bucs receiving compensation, with many NFL teams said to be interested in star veteran receiver Vincent Jackson.
Bucs could trade Jackson
Things have not gone well for the Bucs since they traded for Mankins, with their run game slowly but surely disintegrating into farce.
But moving on Jackson could be a good move for the Bucs given the right compensation, with NFL insider Ian Rapaport revealing that the list of interested NFL teams is long.
Plenty of interested teams
"Who else could be traded? I’m told #Bucs are getting tons of calls on WR Vincent Jackson. TB loves him as a player, but considers everything." Rapaport tweeted in the wake of Percy Harvin's shock trade from the Seahawks to the Jets.
Speaking of Harvin, according to reports, the Bucs actually had the opportunity to trade for the dynamic playmaker last week before Harvin was eventually dealt to the New York Jets.
It is understood that Seattle Seahawks offered him to a number of teams including Tampa Bay, but the Bucs declined their offer.
"In an interesting aside, and according to several reports, the Bucs declined an offer to acquire former Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Percy Harvin, who was dealt to the New York Jets. Tampa Bay reportedly is fielding a lot of calls from teams interested in trading for wide receiver Vincent Jackson."
