Atlanta Falcons have no idea where Wembley is

The Atlanta Falcons have made an awful start to the 2014 NFL season with the team currently holding a record of 2-5 going into week 8. And it seems the team's media department are in pretty poor form as well.

The Falcons are in London this week ahead of their game against the Detroit Lions at Wembley in the second of three international games. Well they should be in London that is, but according to the franchises Twitter account, the Falcons actually got a plane to Barcelona.

Barcelona, England

The Falcons produced a graphic for their fans detailing their travels across the Atlantic Ocean, However, it may just be a bit wrong, geographically speaking.

The graphic makes it look as if the Falcons are traveling to Barcelona and not London. As you may well know, Barcelona is a Catalan city in Spain, not in England. Spain is not even close the United Kingdom, which is it's own island not connected to mainland Europe.

There is a joke to be made here about the state of the American education system, but rather than start an argument, we'll just point and laugh. Something tells me that an intern may be getting a talking to tomorrow morning, as well as an influx of maps from concerned supporters.
