The Elimination Chamber pay-per-view is one of the most exciting events on the WWE calendar, where six superstars compete inside a hellacious steel structure until only one man survives, usually the champion.
It is always the final event before the grandest stage of them all but it looks as if the WWE may be dropping the event completely and creating a new event to replace it.
The news hasn’t come from the WWE so right now it is still a rumour flying around, but the story broke on Reddit where one of the most famous ‘insiders’ in the wrestling business continued to leak bold statements.
He also predicted that the match between sisters Nikki and Brie Bella would have the stipulation that the loser becomes the winner’s assistant, another correct call.
The user, MetsFan4Ever, has a track record of correctly predicting story-lines and stipulations, he correctly predicted that the WWE would move the Dean Ambrose vs. John Cena match from the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view to an episode of Monday Night Raw, where the winner would go on to face Seth Rollins.

He claims to be a former WWE employee who has successfully maintained ties within the company as well as maintaining ties with other employees currently working for the WWE, so fans do listen when he speaks up and his latest bold claim means a new pay-per-view could make a debut in 2015.
MetsFan4Ever has claimed that the WWE could be dropping the Elimination Chamber event as those were the claims coming from the SmackDown tapings this past Tuesday.
If Elimination Chamber is dropped, then it is likely to be replaced with a new pay-per-view titled ‘Fast Lane’ or ‘Fast Track’.
As expected the fans had a lot of questions to ask and he did respond, saying that the reason they want to drop the Elimination Chamber is because there is only one WWE World Heavyweight Champion now that the gold has been unified for almost a year.
This means the WWE want the Royal Rumble winner to begin the build up to the WrestleMania match-up without the champion having to go through the brutal Chamber match – in this case it’s Brock Lesnar.
MetsFan4Ever did mention that the Elimination Chamber matches are still expected to take place at different pay-per-view events when needed but an entire pay-per-view won’t take place before WrestleMania.
He isn’t the only one to claim he has inside information on the WWE; ‘Dolphins1925’ is another user on Reddit who has correctly predicted a large amount of pay-per-view matches before they take place.
It seems as if the potential pay-per-view name means it will be a sort of ‘last chance’ event for superstars that want to get to WrestleMania; so it’s good that the WWE won’t waste a match when the fans know the likelihood is the WWE World Heavyweight Championship won’t change hands.
