Sami Khedira is one of Europe's most wanted possessions at the moment. With his contract expiring at the end of the 2014/15 season, it looks likely that he will leave Real Madrid and join a new club on a free transfer.
Here, we look at 5 possible moves that Sami Khedira could make in the near future.
5. Stay at Real Madrid
There's a possibility that Khedira could sign a new deal at the Bernabeu . The German international has been at the Spanish club since 2010, after signing from German side Stuttgart. Although this seems unlikely, there is a chance that Khedira could make a U-turn and decide to stay as a Real Madrid player.
4. AC Milan
A move to Italian side AC Milan could be on the cards for Khedira too. After a poor season last season, AC Milan are in need of a defensive midfielder that can help balance them out. Recently, AC Milan vice-president claimed that they weren't in the running for Khedira's signature. Despite the cooling in interest, AC Milan still could be the destination for Sami Khedira.
3. Manchester United
Sami Khedira has been linked with a move to Louis van Gaal's Manchester United side. With the side's poor defensive records of late, the arrival of Khedira could inspire the side onto better things. The possibility of linking up with former Real Madrid teammate Angel Di Maria could entice Khedira into a move to Old Trafford.

- Sami Khedira desperate to complete Arsenal move
A move to Stamford Bridge has been reported recently in the press. With Khedira being a former Jose Mourinho signing, the German international has said to be eager to rekindle the relationship he had with the Portuguese manager. Linking up with fellow World Cup winner Andre Schürrle could also help Chelsea's chance in securing Khedira's signature.
All throughout the summer, Sami Khedira was linked with a move to Arsene Wenger's Arsenal. With a chance of a pre-contract agreement happening in January, a move to The Emirates is looking increasingly likely.
Arsenal's frailties in a defensive midfielder could be eradicated with the signing of Khedira. He could also link up with three of his Germany teammates; Mesut Ozil, Per Mertesacker, and Lukas Podolski. Considering all this, could Khedira move to north London, and to Arsenal?
