Alexander Levy leads at the BMW Masters in China

The European tours final four series is underway with Alexander Levy leading the BMWMasters in Shanghai by a single stroke at seven under par. The Frenchman is aiming for his third win of the season and a second in China after triumphing at the Volvo China Open.

Thomas Bjorn is three shots back in a tie for sixth and currently lies fifth in the Race to Dubai rankings.

In a rare excursion from American soil the PGA tour are in Malaysia for the CIMB Classic. Rikard Karlberg holds the first round lead at seven under par with the chasing pack at five under.

Shanshan Feng and Inbee Park are tied for the lead at the Fubon LPGA Taiwan Championship. The pair are two shots clear of the field thanks to opening rounds of eight under par. Park is playing alongside Stacy Lewis who she overtook last week to regain the title of world number one. Lewis could regain top spot this week spot but is currently three shots back at five under par.
