The Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns resume their rivalry for the best team in Ohio on Thursday night, and one member of the Bengals has an additional source of motivation to make sure he crushes Cleveland.
Make them Pay
Wide receiver Greg Little was a member of the Browns until he was cut in May and said Tuesday “hopefully I make them pay” for their decision this week.
Little was a second-round pick for the Browns in 2011 and he has come out and said he has a particular hatred for Browns coach Mike Pettine.
“I didn’t get along with Pettine. He doesn’t talk to any of his players,”
“I didn’t get along with Pettine. He doesn’t talk to any of his players,” Little said, according to the Bengals website.
“You’ll walk past him in the hallway and he won’t even speak to you. To have that type of relationship with a coach is kind of odd. I can’t say I’m going to go out and lay it on the line for guy that won’t even speak to me if we’re the only two people in the hallway.”
- Andrew Luck break records in win
- Tony Romo recovering from back injury
- Bill Belichick making same mistake again
Unfortunately for Little, it doesn't look like he is going to get many chances to make Cleveland pay for letting him go.
He has only four receptions so far this season, and with star wide receiver AJ Green coming back, combined with the emergence of Mohamed Sanu as a real threat, Little will be lucky to wave a big play in Pettine's face.
