With the WWE Network unveiled in the UK, WWE announced that Sheamus would be defending his United States Championship against Rusev exclusively on the Network as part of the Raw post-show.
The Launch was then announced to have been delayed because of more on going negotiations with Sky TV, so the post-show went ahead and was unavailable to fans in the United Kingdom.
That being said, the match still went ahead and much like every match he has had since the night after WrestleMania, Rusev completely dominated Sheamus and after the Irishman blacked out when he was put into The Accolade, giving Rusev the win and the championship.
Sheamus has held that title since the battle royale where former Shield member Dean Ambrose was forced to put the championship on the line and has defeated all on-comers ever since, that is until last week when Rusev made a be-line for the ginger superstar and he accepted the challenge.
Many thought this meant the two would square off at Survivor Series in a few weeks time, so it was a shock that WWE allowed a title to change on a show that was exclusively on the Network, but at the same time shows just how much WWE are pushing fans to subscribe.

It will be interesting to see now if Sheamus cashes in his rematch clause for Survivor Series at the end of this month, or if this allows both men to be free to join Team Cena or Team Authority.
As shown last night on Raw, it looks like The Authority want Rusev on their team after Vince McMahon dealt the blow that if The Authority lose they will no longer be in power. This means Triple H and Stephanie now have to build the strongest team possible in order to over come whatever Team Cena come up with.
Rusev would be a great addition to their team given his on-going undefeated streak, but at the same time it could hinder him more if The Authority did lose at the pay-per-view
