Jordan Archer was the stand-out performer over the weekend as he kept a clean sheet in Northampton's 2-0 win over AFC Wimbledon.
The win lifted the Cobblers up to 15th in League Two, and Shaq Coulthirst was also on the winning side in the fourth tier as he came on in the 84th minute of Southend United's 2-1 win at Mansfield.
In League One, Kenneth McEvoy also came off the bench but his introduction on 75 minutes could not stop the Posh slipping to a 2-1 home defeat to Scunthorpe United.
Alex Pritchard was on the bench and came on midway through the second half on saturday as Brentford beat Derby 2-1 at Griffin Park, and started and scored in the 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest in midweek. Pritchard scored the Bees third from the penalty spot and played the full ninety minutes.
Grant Hall was an unused sub in Birmingham's goalless draw with Wolves, while Ryan Fredericks and Milos Vejkolvic both remained on the bench for MIddlesbrough's 3-0 win over Rotherham at the weekend. Fredericks returned to the starting lineup for Boro's 4-0 win over Norwich on Wednesday and played the full game.

Tom Carroll came on with fourteen minutes remaining with Swansea down to ten men against Everton. The game ended scoreless. Lewis Holtby started Hamburg's 1-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga and was withdrawn in stoppage time.
