Arsene Wenger has revealed that he didn’t want backup ‘keeper Lukasz Fabianski to leave Arsenal this summer, ahead of the Gunners’ clash with Swansea City this weekend. The Frenchman revealed to his club’s official website that he wanted the Polish stopper to fight for a place with first-choice Wojciech Szczesny, though admitted that he understood Fabianski’s desire to leave and find regular game-time elsewhere.
