Seattle Seahawks Punter Jon Ryan has tweeted a very interesting warning to the Seahawks mascot.
Ryan's girlfriend and comedian Sarah Colonna attended the Seahawks game against the New York Giants on Sunday and came away with an interesting picture.
As she went in for an innocent picture with Blitz the mascot, there was a certain something present in the picture I'm sure they didn't want to be there.
The picture itself looks fairly harmless and there is surely no one to blame for the wardrobe malfunction.
Perhaps Blitz is in for a a redesign on his costume as his tail is the source of the problem for Ryan.
- Richard Sherman makes surprising comments about opponent
- Arizona Cardinals make big announcement regarding the play-offs
- New York Jets fan video shows that New York City hates the Jets
The picture itself looks harmless..... Until you scroll further down when Blitz's tail certainly makes an interesting shape.
Ryan however saw the funny side tweeting:
"Hey Blitz next time u cozy up to my gf put that "situation" back in ur pants." - Ryan's tweet to the teams mascot
It was perhaps easy for Ryan to see the funny side as his mood was undoubtedly good after the Seahawks win.
three and on
The Seahawks win over the Giants was their third straight win as they continue a run that is helping to put their bad start behind them.
The Seahawks are now 6-3 and are finally starting to look like the team that took the NFL by storm last year as they won their first ever Super Bowl.
However they are still a far way from taking top spot in the NFC West as the NFL's top team, the Arizona Cardinals stand at 8-1.
The San Francisco 49ers lie third in the division after their overtime win over the New Orleans Saints on Sunday but only just have a winning record.
All season a repeat of last year's NFC Championship game between the 49ers and Seahawks has looked unlikely but is it now possible that the two teams have an opening?
With the Cardinals Quarterback Carson Palmer now officially ruled out for the season, the Rams play-off hopes may be set to take a dive.
If the Seahawks are to take a step closer to the Cardinals, they will need to pick up a fourth consecutive win this weekend when they visit the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Cardinals will be facing the second ranked team in the NFC this weekend as they host the Detroit Lions.
Then it will be a showdown with major divisional implications as the Cardinals will travel to CenturyLink Field to take on the Seahawks.
