We all love a bit of kayfabe. Yes, we know it is not real news, but it's still great to watch it unfold, and the weekly interviews that Michael Cole does are always a good watch.
This week, in the absence of Triple H - who is getting ready for Survivor Series - Chris Jericho stepped in. Y2J covered a lot of interesting topics with Cole, from his in and out career with WWE to his band and the support they receive in the UK.
But by far the most interesting comments to come out of Jericho's mouth in the interview with Cole were his thoughts on what could happen post-Survivor Series.
Set for an epic battle
It's going to be a pretty epic battle as Team Cena takes on Team Authority, with the winner set to run WWE for the foreseeable future.
But rather than want Cena to break up the establishment, Jericho [in character] says he's happy with the current state of WWE and insists he doesn't want Cena to win, comments which point to an interesting twist for Jericho's character.

Doesn't want Cena to win
"Who do I want to win? I think the response you would expect is I would say Team Cena. My concern is I don't know who takes over if Team Cena wins. I don't want John Cena running the WWE," Jericho told Cole.
"I know what I've got with Hunter and with Stephanie and, okay, sometimes they make decisions that are very selfish, but they're also two very powerful people that have been in the business for years."
It's quite interesting that WWE would make Jericho's character go this way ahead of Survivor Series, with the legend further clarifying his opinions by adding:
"Stephanie is a third generation executive, Triple H has been here since 1994, or whatever it is, and kind of studied at the right hand of Vince McMahon; so I, as much as I hope that they don't get out of control, I still don't want them to lose power because like I said, I don't know who takes over. It's better to keep your friends close but your enemies closer. At least I know what I'm dealing with with The Authority and with Stephanie and with Hunter. I don't know what I'm dealing with if Cena wins."
