Johnny Manziel isn't making any noise on the football field at the present time so he's had a chance to reminisce, one thing he has never forgotten is the time he was snubbed by Tiger Woods.
Clearly it still irks the Cleveland Browns backup quarterback as Manziel recently recalled the events of when a 9/10 year old Johnny Football was ignored by Woods when looking for an autograph.
Manziel recently sat down for an interview with Golf Digest’s Craig Bestrom and they spoke of some of his golfing stories from the past, including an incident between him and the legendary Woods that haunts him to this day.
Manziel and his family went on a trip to play a tournament at Isleworth Country Club, they had heard rumours that golf's greatest player was playing a round at nearby Golden Bear Club.
Manziel and a buddy struck out together to see if they could spot Woods and possibly plead with him for a signature, he eventually found his golf idol but would be quick to change his mind.

Manziel gets the snub
Manziel broke down the incident to Bestrom:
“We saw Tiger on the 16th hole and asked for his autograph, and he said to catch him right after the round,I was sitting about 100 yards from the 18th green, and he drove by in a cart and was pulling his hat really, really low. I remember him saying, ‘No autographs today.”
Manziel has since gone on to greater things and has become a big celebrity in his on right, he understands dealing with persistent autograph signing session and realises Woods' stance that day:
“I’m sure there are stories about me, Maybe not in the same fashion, but maybe someone has asked, ‘Hey can I take a picture with you?’ And I say, ‘Sure, I’m gonna use the restroom, and I’ll be right back.’ Then, something comes up.”
Manziel is no longer bitter over the missed opportunity with his then golf idol, he believes if he were to meet Woods again, the two would probably have a laugh about it.
It's rather interesting with all the celebrities that Johnny Football has come up close and personal with, Woods is not one he has seen again since his he was a young boy.
Perhaps next time they meet, Woods could possibly be the one asking for a picture with Manziel.
