Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has picked Victor Valdes as one of his top five goalkeepers of all time.
Speaking to MUTV, the Red Devils shot-stopper has revealed that he loves Valdes and believes he's a great 'keeper.
Training with Manchester United
Valdes, of course, is currently training with Manchester United as he looks to recover from a career threatening knee injury, with a number of reports suggesting that he will sign for Louis van Gaal's side in the near future.
De Gea, then, could be set to go head-to-head with the Barcelona hero at the Theatre of Dreams, but he's been full of praise for his fellow Spaniard.
"I love him. He is a great keeper and a good person. I’ve worked him with a lot for the national team and he is a keeper who always plays really well with his feet."

As well as picking Valdes in his top five, the 'keeper also opted for legendary Manchester United duo Peter Schmeichel and Edwin van der Sar, as well as Iker Casillas and Gianluigi Buffon as the greatest ever goalkeepers.
Manchester United fans, meanwhile, may well be hoping the club complete a deal for Valdes in the near future after De Gea dislocated his finger in training on international duty.
It remains to be seen as to how long De Gea will be out of action for, but United fans will be hoping that he makes a speedy recovery after his excellent start to the season.
