Karim Benzema is considering an exit from Real Madrid which could open up the possibility of a move to either Liverpool or Arsenal, according to reports.
The French international has been in fine form so far this term, and has scored six goals in nine La Liga games. However despite that his future could be away from the Bernabeu if reports are to be believed.
The Express claim that the French international doubts whether boss Carlo Ancelotti views him as a long-term option in attack, and that Madrid's interest in Luis Suarez last summer only serves to highlight that.
Should he leave Spain then Benzema is unlikely to be short of suitors, and Liverpool and Arsenal will be at the front of the queue. Both clubs have had their problems in attack this term and may look to bolster their options, although a January swoop seems improbable.
Liverpool are of course dealing with the loss of Luis Suarez and his replacement, Mario Balotelli, hasn't exactly set the Premier League alight. The Italian still hasn't got off the mark in the league and there's even been some suggestions that he could be sold already.

Arsenal meanwhile have experimented with using winger Alexis Sanchez up front but that didn't work, and the Chilean has found a rich vein of form from the right wing.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger did land Danny Welbeck from Manchester United over the summer but would jump at the chance to land Benzema if he became available.
