WWE have reported that Sheamus will not appear at Survivor Series on Sunday night, following an injury he sustained during Monday Night Raw.
The Celtic Warrior took part in a great match with fellow Team Cena member Big Show, after Stephanie McMahon announced that the winner would supposedly be offered a shot at the WWE title.
As with anything to do with Team Cena and Team Authority, though, this was not going to be a straight forward agreement.
The match up ended by Team Authority members Rusev and Mark Henry stopping Big Show and Sheamus respectively.
Big Show was put in The Accolade by Rusev until he passed out, while Mark Henry slammed Sheamus through the announce table, resulting in his absence from Survivor Series at the Scottrade Center in St Louis, Missouri on 23rd November.

Following the incident, WWE reported:
"WWE.com can confirm that former U.S. Champion Sheamus was taken to a local medical facility in Virginia following his match with Big Show on Raw. The extent of The Celtic Warrior's injury is undetermined, but it has been confirmed he will not be able to compete at Survivor Series this Sunday. Please keep checking back with WWE.com for updates as they become available."
It is not yet clear why this move has been made to Sheamus inparticular, but there has been no news that the Irishman is genuinely injured ahead of the pay-per-view event.
The news of his absence therefore, is surely part of another WWE storyline, with Erick Rowan taking his place as a member of Team Cena, opposite Luke Harper who has been announced as the final member of Team Authority.
Those who make up The Authority in WWE have long been criticised for their repetitive nature. It will be interesting to see whether pitting a team of so-called good guys against them on Sunday night, will give WWE the boost it needs to make The Authority more appealing to the WWE Universe.
