The European Tour has landed in Dubai for the season ending finale, the DP World Tour Championship. The tee times have been announced and last year’s Race to Dubai winner Henrik Stenson is paired with this year’s winner and world number one Rory McIlroy. Marcel Siem will tee off with Jamie Donaldson, and Sergio Garcia will play with Brooks Koepka, who was victorious last week at the Turkish Airlines Open.

Rory McIlroy is looking forward to his return to golf after a six-week absence battling his former management company in a legal dispute. Rory has missed out on the first three of the final four events in the Race to Dubai series. Looking ahead to the weekend’s action, he claims he will not just walk a 72 –hole lap of honour. Instead, he wants to finish with a win and take advantage of the jaded players from the last three events.

And Finally, Sergio Garcia has a new caddie for his defence of next month’s Thailand Open. He has acquired the services of good friend, and Tennis Champion, Juan Carlos Ferrero. The 2003 French Open Champion retired form tennis in 2012, and will take Garcia’s bag as a rookie caddie for the tournament.

That’s everything for today, join us again tomorrow for another golfing round up. In the meantime you can check out our website or find us on Facebook, twitter or Instagram. Bye for now.
