NFL announce Adrian Peterson is suspended

Published Add your comment

The NFL has announced that Adrian Peterson has been suspended without pay for the remainder of the 2014 season. The Minnesota Vikings star had previously been on the exempt commissioner’s permission list after allegations he disciplined his 4-year-old son with a switch. Elsewhere in the NFL it was a huge night for Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell who became only the fourth player in franchise history to record a 200-yard rushing game as Pittsburgh overcome the Titans 27-24 on Monday Night Football. Meanwhile in the NBA the Memphis Grizzlies continued their incredible start to the season, blowing out the Houston Rockets 119-93 to improve to a 10-1 record. And finally in the NHL, the New York Rangers were well beaten on home ice last night, losing 5-1 against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
