Daniel Bryan made one of the his most passionate speeches for a while earlier this week when he was asked about his injury recovery and whether or not he will be back for WrestleMania 31.
Bryan's injury saga has been one of the most worrying for WWE in some time. At the end of the day, Daniel Bryan is both an incredibly popular and successful wrestler, and for the WWE to lose him for the last five months has been borderline heartbreak for the WWE Universe.
But earlier this week, Daniel Bryan did an interview with Comcast Sports Net Bay Area, and in the interview he gave WWE fans the first hope for months that he may be able to return for WrestleMania 31.
"I want to be back for WrestleMania 31. The original plan was to come back January but we've struggled to get the strength back in my hand," Bryan explained.
"We don't know exactly what to do right now, but I definitely want to be back in time to compete at WrestleMania at Levi Stadium."

These comments may come as a surprise to many WWE fans who already assumed the former WWE Champion was set to miss WrestleMania 31 following the rumors he is due to undergo another surgery.
Earlier this week there were rumors that Bryan would need another surgery, this time on his elbow. But the superstar wrestler's recent comments suggest that there is real hope at the moment that this could be avoided. As it stands, further surgery for Bryan would surely knock him out of WrestleMania 31.
Bryan has been out of action since early summer after he was forced to undergo surgery following a neck injury that resulted in the WWE Heavyweight Champion at the time going under the knife.
However, despite a successful neck surgery in May, Bryan has struggled to regain strength in his hand. Even though this can be perceived as bad news, Bryan confirmed last month that if he were a UFC fighter he could return, with the superstar wrestler revealing that it's the scripted nature of WWE which means this particular type of injury would be dangerous because he wouldn't be able to support his opponents.
We all hope Bryan will return in time for WrestleMania 31. Watch this space.
