In the NFL, LeGarrette Blount has resigned with the Patriots after he was fired by Pittsburgh earlier this week.
Blount was released after he ignored coaches and personally took himself out of the Steelers win in Tennessee on Monday night.
"Word broke early Thursday morning that the Patriots were meeting with running back LeGarrette Blount and that they were expected to bring him back to the team after a 10-game spell with the Steelers," Pro Football Talk.
"The Patriots made that official a bit later in the day. They announced that Blount has rejoined the team and that defensive lineman Casey Walker has been dropped from the roster to make room."
