With the current WWE roster comprising of a significant amount of young talent, the Superstars which make it up are just as familiar with ex-WWE wrestlers as we are.
With this in mind, it is interesting to find out what their dreams matches or scenarios within WWE would be. Ahead of Survivor Series taking place this Sunday at the Scottrade Center in St Louis, Missouri, WWE.com asked some of the Superstars who would make up their dream team for the pay-per-view-event.
From Dean Ambrose to Adam Rose, the company doubtlessly chose an eclectic bunch of wrestlers to explain their ideal teas and their reasons behind the selections.
Possibly the strongest line-up though, came from Roman Reigns, who appeared to favour the sense of cohesion he had while making up one third of The Shield.
With little hesitation at all he made it clear who his first choice would be:
"My man, Dean Ambrose. We have a huge amount of chemistry and I like his element of surprise," he added: "You just don't know what to expect with him. That would really give our team an advantage in that respect."
For Reigns' next selection, he continued with the idea of using Superstars who were predominantly in the ring together for their careers:
"I would go with a tag team situation here, because it's all about teamwork. And you can't go wrong with these guys: Edge and Christian.," he explained.
"Both of them bring their own strengths to the table. Obviously, Edge utilizes the Spear which would be cool with both of us in the ring at the same time."
Save the best until last
As if the 29-year-old's decisions for his dream team were not already ideal enough, his final choice more than completed his great selection of wrestlers - The Undertaker.
His reasoning for picking The Dead Man was clear: "We need a big man - a really big man...if there's any aspect the other four haven't been in, I guarantee he would be able to step up and have some knowledge."
Though there is no denying that a team made up of the iconic wrestlers Reigns has chosen would prove an extremely tough opponent for Team Authority, it is John Cena and his side who we will see face the managerial team this coming Sunday.
With the WWE roster boasting such an array of talent, it has been interesting to see which WWE Superstars would make up both teams at Survivor Series.
After a fare amount of deliberation, John Cena will compete alongside Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan, Big Show, and Ryback against the might of Seth Rollins, Kane, Mark Henry, Rusev and Cesaro in a match which pits The Authority against the people.
