Reigns being advertised for live shows again

It has been a long absence for the WWE's powerhouse and leader of the former Shield Roman Reigns, but that absence could soon be over.

Reigns is being advertised for live shows next months which means we are less than a month away from his return.

Reigns is one of the most popular superstars in the WWE and his return could largely be considered as the beginning of his rise.

He competed in several WWE World Heavyweight Championship matches prior to picking up his injury on the eve of Night of Champions.

Competing in the Money in the Bank ladder match for the vacated title and then the fatal four way for the title at Battleground a month later.

Reigns was in the midst of a big push up the match card prior to his injury after feuding with Randy Orton and then Seth Rollins before Night of Champions.

His absence from Night of Champions allowed for the return of Dean Ambrose to go after Rollins and he has since weighed in numerous times on the feud between his two former Shield brothers.

Reigns is now being advertised for the live show on December 20th in San Diego.

Despite being a house show, Reigns making his comeback off screen could be an easy to get him back in the ring after a lengthy absence.

Two down, two to go

Since Reigns was rushed to hospital prior to Night of Champions, he has now missed two Pay-Per-Views.

Obviously absent for his showdown with Seth Rollins he also missed October's Hell in a Cell PPV.

If he is to return on the 20th of December, that will mean that Reigns will still be out for this Sunday's Survivor Series.

Not only will he miss the longest running PPV in the company's history, but he will not be involved in next months TLC PPV either.

Who knows how Reigns will be brought back into it or who he will target with his long-time nemesis Randy Orton also out and seemingly ready for a face turn.

After this Sunday, there could no longer be an Authority for him to challenge which would bring Seth Rollins into view.

Rollins is set to feud with both Orton and Reigns upon their returns but if both are to be back in the upcoming months, they may need a new target to be ready.
