Film star Keira Knightley has been bonding with American chat-show host Seth Myers over their love for West Ham.
Knightley was pleasantly surprised to learn of Myer’s admiration for the club and was asked to explain West Ham’s iconic anthem.
In her appearance on Thursday’s Late night with Seth Myers she blames “I’m forever blowing bubbles” for why the Hammers have struggled over recent years.
“The problem with the song, is the song is really sad, the song is about not winning, the song is in fact about your dreams fading and dying.
“So it’s sort of not really a surprise when we lose all the time when you have this song.”

However the Hollywood actress went on to say how impressed she was with the Hammers’ start to the season as they currently sit fourth in the league after 11 matches.
“They are having an amazing time this season. I’m almost not watching, I’m sort of watching it going like this (puts hands over her face) because it’s not going to last, but maybe it will last.”
No doubt lifelong supporter Knightley will be keeping an eye on West Ham’s trip to Everton on Saturday, hoping they can extend their unbeaten run to six games.
