Ashley Young diving accusations resurface in Manchester United Q&A

Published 1 Comments

Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher took the opportunity to poke fun at Old Trafford team-mate Ashley Young during a recent Q&A session with main sponsors Chevrolet, after suggesting that diving is the £120,000-a-week star's best attribute.

The Red Devils vice-captain was taking part in a promotional #AskManUtd campaign, whereby supporters from all over the world gain exclusive access to some of their favourite stars.

However, Young's participation in the special series backfired somewhat when vice-captain Fletcher seized the chance to ridicule the former Aston Villa winger over previous accusations of simulation.

Young appeared to take the jibe in good spirits though, despite an uncontrollable spate of laughter from the onlooking Jesse Lingard and James Wilson, with the entire exchange caught on tape by the cameramen.

The 60 second film also features David De Gea and Ander Herrera, although the Spanish duo appear to take the line of interrogation a lot more seriously than the players that came before them.

Among the other questions posed were 'Who has the best hair?' in Louis van Gaal's squad, and the preferred choice of pre-match playlist in the changing room.
