Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski has issued a rallying call to home supporters ahead of today's crunch Premier League clash against Manchester United.
The Gunners host the Red Devils in Saturday's late kick-off at the Emirates Stadium, and the Germany international has urged fans to get behind the team to give Arsene Wenger's side the best possible chance of delivering three points.
Prior to the international break, Arsenal recorded two disappointing results against Anderlecht and Swansea City, and so the north London club will be looking to bounce back against Louis van Gaal's injury-hit team.
Posting on his official Facebook page, Podolski wrote: "We need our 12th man this weekend, let's create a great atmosphere together!”
He also uploaded a photo of an uncharacteristically raucous set of Arsenal supporters, suggesting that's exactly how the 29-year-old wants the stadium to be this afternoon.

Podolski is unlikely to be named in Wenger's starting line-up against Manchester United having struggled for regular action so far this campaign, but judging by his latest social media message that has not dampened his passion and excitement in the build-up to the match.
The Gunners started Saturday in sixth place in the Premier League table - one point ahead of the Red Devils - and know that victory is required to restore even the faintest of title hopes heading into the busy Christmas and New Year period.
