Manchester United could sign Martin Odegaard next month

Manchester United believe they have a great chance of signing Norwegian starlet Martin Odegaard in December, according to the Mirror.

It's been suggested that, despite Real Madrid being keen on bringing him to the Bernabeu, the Red Devils could land the youngster after impressing him with a tour of Old Trafford and the club's Carrington training base. 

December signing? 

And it appears that Manchester United could secure his signature next month, as he's set to decide his future on his 16th birthday on December 16.

Odegaard, who is currently starring at Norwegian outfit Stromsgodset, would certainly prove quite the coup for United as he looks set for an extremely bright future in the game.

In fact, despite only being 15-years-old, he's already played for Norway on three occasions and has been handed great praise by those around him. As an attacking midfielder, he certainly possesses the ability to both create and score goals.

First team chance

If Manchester United do secure his signature, however, it remains to be seen as to whether they would hand him a first-team role or introduce him to their academy.

Red Devils fans will certainly be hoping the club land the talented teenager, as the club go in search of long term success.
