Real Madrid will be in the market for another superstar next summer and may train their attention on Chelsea forward Diego Costa.
That's the opinion of Fox Sports Australia pundit and former-Premier League striker John Aloisi.
He believes Real Madrid will not be content to field Karim Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale - a trio widely regarded to be the best front three in the world. The Spanish giants have a habit of making a splash in every transfer window, but when you already have one of the planet's best squads, that presents a unique challenge.
Last summer they bought in James Rodriguez, the star of the World Cup, but sold Angel Di Maria, the star of their run to the Champions League title, to make way for the Colombian.
Speculation has intensified that Benzema could be the next Madrid star moved on, which would open up a space for a new marquee forward.

Diego Costa, who shot to prominence in the wake of Radamel Falcao's departure from Atletico Madrid, was linked with Real Madrid before moving to Chelsea in the summer of 2014.
As it's so difficult to move from Atletico to Real, it's conceivable that Costa may eventually switch to the reigning Champions League winners via Chelsea.
Real Madrid Down Under
Aloisi was commenting on Real Madrid after it was announced that the La Liga side will play a preseason tournament, the International Champions Cup, in Australia next summer.
And the Aussie striker believes Real Madrid could have a big new name in the starting lineup by the time they arrive Down Under.
"They have stars all over the field, every year they bring in a new star so I can imagine that in July they will have another star who has done something amazing in the world of football," Aloisi said.
"It will be interesting to see which player they sign. There is no bigger than Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi at the moment, but they bring in a great player each year. They could make a bid for Diego Costa for example, and we could be the first to see him in the shirt of Real."
Costa in the Premier League
The Brazilian-born Spain international has 11 Premier League goals already this season in just 10 games, including another in Chelsea's most recent fixture against West Bromwich Albion at Stamford Bridge last Saturday.
As recorded by whoscored.com, Costa is currently averaging a goal every 76 minutes of Premier League football for Mourinho's side.
Chelsea are next in action against Bundesliga opponents Schalke in the Champions League.
