We start with sad news in the NFL today with reports revealing Kansas City Chiefs safety Eric Berry has been placed on the non-football illness list after doctors discovered a mass in his chest. Berry is set to undergo further testing over the coming days but Chiefs officials fear that the three-time Pro Bowler may have lymphoma. Elsewhere in the NFL there were defeats for the New Orleans Saints and New York Jets on Monday night. The Jets failed to score a single point in the final three quarters of their 38-3 loss to the Buffalo Bills. Across to the NBA and the Cleveland Cavaliers got back to winning ways against the Orlando Magic. LeBron James finished with a game high 29 points as the Cavs cruised to a 106-74 win. And finally the Boston Red Sox have reportedly agreed a four-year deal with veteran shortstop Hanley Ramirez worth $88 million dollars.
