Chelsea star Diego Costa has been outshone by former Atletico Madrid teammate Filipe Luis when they competed in the Adidas corner challenge.
In a new video Costa, Luis and Andreas Christensen all attempt to score from the byline and perhaps surprisingly the Brazilian striker did not come out on top.
Luis scored two of his attempts whilst Costa managed just one, meanwhile young Danish defender Christensen was unable to hit the target. During the video, Costa is asked what song he sung at his initiation into the team, to which he revealed Brazilian song “Lepo Lepo” although it’s uncertain whether he performed the Pitbull remix.
At one stage Costa shouts “Oh no!” after one of Christensen’s efforts was well off target. Clearly embarrassed by his teammate’s attempt, Costa did not want the cameras to film just how far away from goal the defender was.
Costa will be hoping he can put in a better performance when his side travel to Schalke tonight. Chelsea are currently top of Group G and are three points clear of former manager Roberto Di Matteo’s German side.

Schalke are Di Matteo’s first venture back into management since being sacked from Chelsea, where he won the Champions League and FA Cup during his time at the helm.
