Chelsea enjoyed quite the European evening last night as they matched their record for an away win in the Champions League.
Jose Mourinho's side, who remain unbeaten this season, destroyed German outfit Schalke by five goals to nil as they secured their place in the Round of 16 in Europe's elite competition.
As Chelsea were comfortably beating Roberto Di Matteo's struggling side, the keyboard warriors behind the club's Twitter feed opted to take the opportunity to troll their London rivals Arsenal.
Arsenal, much like Chelsea, were enjoying a fine night in Europe a couple of weeks ago as they were in cruise control against Belgian champions Anderlecht. However, it all turned sour for Arsene Wenger and Co. in front of the Emirates faithful, as the Gunners surrendered the three goal lead and only managed to secure a point on home soil.
It was certainly a night to forget for the Arsenal players as defensive vulnerabilities led to quite the capitulation in a game that appeared to be a stroll in the park.
Chelsea, on Twitter, decided to remind Blues fans that a 3-0 lead was a 'dangerous' one in Europe...they knew what they were doing.
Arsenal are struggling
It has certainly been a testing couple of weeks for the Gunners and they will be desperate to right the wrongs of their last European failure as they play host to German outfit Borussia Dortmund this evening.
Despite their troubles in this campaign, the Gunners can also qualify for the knockout stages of the competition this evening, but they won't have it all their own way as they take on a Dortmund side desperate to prove their credentials after enduring a nightmare start domestically.
Chelsea, meanwhile, continue to go from strength-to-strength, and look a force to be reckoned with under Mourinho.
