CM Punk has finally spoken out about his acrimonious exit from WWE and it's pretty grim listening for Vince McMahon and co.
Amongst a malaise of claims from CM Punk on Colt Cobana's Art Of Wrestling Podcast about the way he was mistreated and why he left WWE, the most damning has to be his claims of mistreatment by WWE doctors that could have easily left him dead.
Punk cites multiple reasons why he should feel aggrieved at the way he was mistreated by the wrestling company's doctors. With "Bu**sh** concussion tests" that forced him to compete during an injury coming out as one of the more serious accusations from Punk.
But not only did WWE run such a poor concussion protocol, Punk says the wrestling company fostered an environment which left wrestlers willing to work at whatever the cost.
"WWE doesn't do anything to protect the wrestlers, they do things to protect themselves. They don't let everyone know that they're doing all of these fantastic things for concussions for the boys, they do it so it looks good on them," Punk revealed on Colt Cobana's Art Of Wrestling Podcast.

"The NFL is getting fu**ed in the ass because the players have a union that says you have to pay the players for medical and past injuries, and the NFL is paying out their ass.
"But Vince [McMahon] doesn't want to do that so we have all of this about him doing this and that. But I got a concussion in the Royal Rumble. It was pretty obvious I had one and everyone knew that.
"I passed this bull**it test with flying colors. I wanted to work because they instil that in you because if I didn't work I would have got punished."
These are pretty disturbing accusations from Punk, but, perhaps the most worrying of his accusations has to be the one in which Punk insists he should have been dead after WWE doctors mismanaged a staph infection he had.
In the podcast, Punk claims that after seeing another doctor once he quit the WWE back in January, the new doctor then revealed to Punk that he was lucky to be alive after wrestling on for months with the infection.
"Punk said that the WWE's doctor was inept and diagnosed an MRSA staph infection as a fatty deposit," wrestlinginc.com reported. "He said that his new doctor, recommended by his wife AJ Lee, told him he should be dead after wrestling with a staph infection for months."
