It was almost ten months ago that CM Punk walked out of WWE for good. Since then rumors have circulated about his reasons for leaving one of the biggest wrestling companies in the world, but finally this week the self proclaimed "Best in the World" broke his silence.
In a two hour podcast with his best friend Colt Cabana, CM Punk, real name Phil Brooks laid all of his issues on the table about the problems in his WWE career between 2011 and 2014.
WWE has since responded to some of Brooks claims whilst Ryback used social media site Twitter to issue a statement after CM Punk talked about "the big guy" injuring him.
WWE responded to Punk
WWE's statement was mostly regarding the illness and injuries Punk claimed to have when he left WWE in January. The former WWE Champion said he was "throwing up or dry heaving after ever show" in his last few months with the company.
Many of the WWE Universe have claimed that the podcast "broke the internet" after thousands of fans responded to Punk's comment and seemingly believed his side of the events.

This could leave WWE with a sour taste in their mouth after Punk claims that he refused to issue a joint statement with his former employers, but who will WWE punish in the absence of Punk?
Perfect timing for CM Punk
Punk's best friend and wife are currently under WWE's employment and it seems this was the best time for CM Punk to come out and state his side of the story because AJ Lee has just dropped her Divas Title to Nikki and looks set to leave the company after TLC anyway and Kofi Kingston has just debuted in a new stable and looks like he could be heading for a decent push that WWE can't really pull back on now.
The New Day gimmick along with Xavier Woods and Big E Langston could be the boost the tag team division needs and WWE wouldn't ruin this just to make a point to CM Punk and if AJ does leave WWE she herself would be able to come out and state whether or not WWE were punishing her earlier in the year when her future seemed up in the air.
If Punk had done this a week earlier then the Survivor Series Divas Title match could have looked like a version of punishment for her husbands comments.
WWE's best reaction would be to take the high road and ignore the comments because anything they reply now would make all of Punk's comments seem true. For ten months the WWE Universe has waited for this version of events and WWE has had the chance to give their side of the story and they didn't so it looks like there may be some truth to Punk's comments.
