Diego Costa left one Chelsea fan disappointed after he refused to sign an autograph for him following his Sunderland disaster on Saturday evening, reports The Mirror.
The Brazilian-born striker has impressed since joining from Atletico Madrid in the summer, scoring 11 Premier League goals in his opening ten games for the Blues. However, he failed to score against struggling Sunderland and was lucky to escape a red card.
Costa kicked out at John O'Shea before launching an elbow in Wes Brown's direction. The first went unpunished while the second was deemed a yellow card offence. As it was his fifth of the season, he will miss Chelsea's next game against Tottenham.
Grumpier than usual
Costa is a grumpy fellow at the best of times but, needless to say, the 25-year-old left Weirside much grumpier than he arrived and let his frustrations tell when a Chelsea fan asked for an autograph. However, this was not your run of the mill request from the cheeky chancer.

However, ahead of the Christmas period, the entrepreneur sensed a chance to make 2014 a special one by getting Costa to personalise a tin of Quality Street, a box of Celebrations and a selection of luxury biscuits.
The Mirror reports that the man let his presence be known outside of the Stadium of Light and pursued Costa and Co in the hope of boosting the asking price of the Christmas goodies.
His request was refused by the Chelsea striker, who instead chose to walk on to the team bus and get himself out of sight as soon as possible.
