What a few days it has been for LA Lakers star Kobe Bryant who has seen his fortunes change quite dramatically.
Friday saw the Lakers lose at home to the Minnesota Timberwolves where despite having a 26 point game, Bryant missed the buzzer beater at the end to confirm the Lakers loss.
However on Sunday, Bryant went a long way to silencing the many critics he has had this season.
Bryant hit a triple-double during the Lakers very unlikely win over the leaders of the Eastern Conference, the Toronto Raptors
Bryant had 31 points in the match as well as 11 rebounds and 12 assists as he was back to his best to lead the Lakers to the unlikely win.

Despite Bryant's incredible game, it was a momentary media slip up that has provided us with a good laugh.
Current NBA TV analyst and former Lakers star Rick Fox was the man caught out after he was heard laughing when his mic was clearly left on.
Fox was laughing at a fairly funny coming together between Bryant and Raptors Guard Kyle Lowry's lower body.
As the back of Bryant's head gets a bit too close for comfort, Fox was clearly seeing the funny side after he did what he needed to and took the program to a break.
I'm sure the rest of the watching audience were also amused by the position the two NBA stars found themselves in but Fox's comments were just the icing on the cake.
Onwards and upwards
The win over the previously 13-3 Raptors was a massive result for the Lakers who snapped a four game losing streak.
The Lakers move to 4-13 on the season but remain bottom of the Western conference despite tying the Timberwolves on wins.
Bryant has put in two classic performances in a row and will surely be hoping to continue his form when the Lakers visit the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday night.
The match with the team who are one place above the bottom of the Eastern conference will give the Lakers a chance to get a second win in a row and perhaps string together more and more victories.
Bryant's resurgence will need to continue if the Lakers are to do so as they also face tricky trips to the Boston Celtics and Washington Wizards before they return to Los Angeles
