Manchester United youngster Paddy McNair has told United Review that teammate James Wilson has 'everything' and will be brilliant at Old Trafford, reports the club's official site.

McNair, who has enjoyed an incredible rise up the ranks at the club in recent time, has already featured for Louis van Gaal's first-team side on six occasions throughout the course of the season so far.

Wilson will be great

The Northern Irish teenager, has, however, handed the ultimate praise to his fellow youngster at the Theatre of Dreams, insisting that striker James Wilson is brilliant and has the potential to do great things at the club.

In fact, McNair has even suggested that the teenager, who entered the first-team frame under Ryan Giggs last season, will get his Old Trafford hat-trick in the near future.

Speaking about Wilson, McNair told reporters: "Oh, he's brilliant. I think he's got everything. There's nothing he can't do.

"It's just a matter of time before he gets his first hat-trick at Old Trafford! He works really hard and it's a real challenge to face him in training."

Wilson, then, will be hoping to kick on at Manchester United over the coming weeks and months. After the departures of Danny Welbeck and Javier Hernandez in the last transfer window, the youngster has made a rapid rise into Louis van Gaal's first-team plans, but has yet to start for the club in the Premier League this term.

Attacking trio

With the likes of Wayne Rooney, Radamel Falcao and Robin van Persie ahead of him in the pecking order at the Theatre of Dreams, it certainly won't be easy for the youngster to play for the side on a regular basis in the immediate future.

And McNair has also hailed United's other three forwards, insisting that they are world class.

The youngster admitting that it's difficult playing against his teammates in training, as he said: "It's hard – not great for confidence! But it's obviously really good for me. It's only going to make me a better defender to be playing against world-class strikers every day.

"I'm just looking forward to the season continuing and trying to get better each day. Their goalscoring records speak for themselves, so if I can stop them in training then I must be doing something right."

McNair and Manchester United's star-studded attacking line-up will be hoping to feature this evening as the Red Devils play host to Stoke City. Van Gaal's side will be looking to secure their fourth straight victory in tonight's showdown with Mark Hughes' side.
