WWE made the decision on Tuesday to pull Brock Lesnar from next week's Monday Night Raw, according to reports.
Brock Lesnar was scheduled to appear next week on Raw after a substantial time away from the ring, but the blow of him not returning could well be the first of many for Lesnar fans.
The dominant wrestler has been scheduled for several events in December and the cancellation of his appearance at Raw next week means Lesnar's status for the other events in December is now seriously in doubt.
WWE speak out on Lesnar
"WWE has removed WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar from their event listing for next week's RAW from the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, SC. Lesnar had been advertised for next week's show since October," Wrestlinginc.com reported.
Wrestlingnews.co are reporting that the reason for Lesnar's omission from Raw is that they don't want to waste one of their few remaining opportunities to book the WWE Champion.
"As we noted last night, Brock Lesnar is no longer being advertised for Monday’s Raw. The decision was made during the week not to waste one of his contracted dates on the Slammy Awards show," Wrestlingnews.co reported.
WWE have made some terrible decisions this year and giving Brock Lesnar the WWE Heavyweight Championship belt was one of them.

Huge problem for WWE
Brock Lesnar is undoubtedly a legendary wrestler in the making and fans all over the globe love him. But the problem with Lesnar is that he is not around enough to earn the title of WWE Champion.
WWE's decision to run with Lesnar as their champion ever since the SummerSlam pay-per-view has just highlighted the issue of part-time wrestlers in the WWE, and things just got a whole lot worse this week regarding Lesnar and the issue of part-time wrestlers.
It's a huge problem for WWE when their champion can't be countered on to perform when they want. The issue with Lesnar stems from WWE's decision to give him a contract that enables Lesnar to pick and choose his appearances.
With Lesnar having these options, there is no way WWE should have ploughed such an intense amount of credibility into Lesnar's character. The beast battered John Cena at SummerSlam and the fact that he hasn't taken to the ring as much as WWE would have wanted in the past few months just devalues the credibility of his contenders.
The sooner Lesnar gets back the better. And when he does get back, WWE need to act quickly and let the champion fall to a wrestler they can count on every week.
