The NBA has seen some epic mistakes in its time, but this has to be amongst the biggest.

The great thing about basketball is that it's constant. There is no time to relax. Players have to be focused and ready to play every second of every quarter.

With the ball at mid court, Payton decided to take his time as he assessed his options for what to do next.
