Johnny Manziel offered high praise by Browns' teammate

Johnny Manziel could be about to make his first start in the NFL on Sunday when the Cleveland Browns host the Indianapolis Colts.

Manziel was the second quarterback to be picked in the 2014 NFL Draft when he was taken with the 22nd overall selection. But rather than light up the league, Manziel failed to overtake Brian Hoyer in the depth chart and has had to bide his time as the Cleveland back-up.

But now following four terrible performances from Hoyer, Manziel's time is surely about to begin. We will have to wait and see what head coach Mike Pettine does, but in the meantime, Manziel is getting plenty of support from teammates such as defensive end Billy Winn.

"I was excited to see him get a chance to show the league what he can do," said Cleveland defensive end Billy Winn, reported. "He went out there and made everything come to life."

Even though Manziel has been given very little time by the Browns to display his skills against NFL opposition, Winn said that what he's seen from Manziel so far has been really impressive.

Winn picked out Manziel's ability to keep defenses off balance as one of the most impressive attributes the rookie star has in his locker.

"It makes you hesitate because the kid can take off and go," Winn added. "He can fly. Johnny can fly. It's exciting. He's definitely an exciting guy to watch.

"You never know what he's going to do. You want a quarterback that can stay in the pocket and put it where it needs to be, but he's one of these guys that if his read's not there, he's going to take off and pick up what he can get."
