NHL update
First we start with some sad NHL news. It has been reported that Hall of Famer Jean Beliveau has died at the age of 83. The hockey legend won the Stanley Cup 17 times as player and coach of the Montreal Canadiens.
"Like millions of hockey fans who followed the life and the career of Jean Beliveau, the Canadiens today mourn the passing of a man whose contribution to the development of our sport and our society was unmeasurable," team owner Geoff Molson said in a statement posted on the Montreal Canadiens' website.
Peterson wants to be reinstated
Now to the NFL, and disgraced star running back Adrian Peterson is hoping to be reinstated to the NFL today. Peterson was suspended from the league after getting charged for child abuse, his hearing takes place today.
NBA make All-Star Game announcement
Across to basketball, and the NBA has officially unveiled their 2015 All-Star jerseys made in association with Adidas. The All-Star Game will take place on February 15th in New York.
