CM Punk made a lot of crazy accusations when he appeared on the Colt Cabana The Art of Wrestling Podcast last week. Some of the accusations we can believe, others sound ridiculous.
But in and amongst the embellishments and the blatant lies, CM Punk said some heartfelt things that we can certainly believe took place and his comments on his feelings in WWE are understandable.
One of the most contentious things for CM Punk that still hurts him to this day is the fact that he had to relinquish the WWE title to The Rock before WrestleMania 29. Punk spoke at length about his disappointment last week, and following the podcast The Rock was subjected to abuse on Twitter as a result.
CM Punk made another appearance on The Art of Wrestling Podcast with Colt Cabana this week as he answered questions from fans as the WWE Universe responded to the first podcast.
But as well as revealing that he will never go back to WWE, Punk also revealed that The Rock sent him an angry text after his revelations on the previous podcast.

But rather than The Rock staying angry at Punk, the former superstar said The Rock understand why fans were abusing him on Twitter when Punk explained the situation, after which The Rock was cool about everything, according to Punk.
"I understand fan’s passion. You know, it was Thanksgiving – I’m hanging out with the sisters, I’m eating turkey, and at the end of the night, I grab my phone and Rock texted me," Punk revealed this week.
"He’s like, ‘Just opened up my Twitter, and all your fans are mad at me. What the f— happened?’ I text back, ‘Oh, I did this podcast, explained why I left,’ and I was like, ‘I don’t think I said negative about you. But, I probably discussed working with you and trying to remain working with you so I could get a WrestleMania main event out of it.’ I just talked about that: ‘People are mad that I dropped the title to you, but I didn’t say anything negative about you.’ And he was super cool about it."
