Chad le Clos exclusive: Manchester United have turned fortunes around

World Swimmer of the Year and massive Manchester United fan Chad le Clos has outlined how he believes Louis van Gaal is the right man to lead the Red Devils to glory.

In an exclusive interview with GiveMeSport the South African, who won a gold medal in the World Swimming Championships currently going on in Doha, said that United have managed to turn their season around.

On the up

"I think we’re definitely on the up now - I think the game against Arsenal was a turning point for us, and yes I think we can do well this year under Van Gaal."

Van Gaal's side would certainly relish an unbeaten run like the streak Le Clos is currently on - the South African has gone 27 races undefeated.

The 22-time Premier League champions have proved many of their critics wrong in the past few weeks, winning four games on the bounce and creeping back into the top four.

United's league stance 

Even though United trail the league leaders Chelsea by a gargantuan 11 points, their main priority has to be securing a Champions League spot after not making the grade last season under David Moyes.

However the Red Devil's fare in the remainder of the season, one thing can certainly be guaranteed - they will always have the backing and support of three time World Swimmer of the Year Le Clos.
