Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has shown fans his new weapons of destruction - otherwise known as his boots - ahead of Monday night's Premier League clash against the Southampton.
The England forward was a fitness doubt for the clash against the Saints at St. Mary's, but the club have confirmed this afternoon that he trained today and is in contention to make the trip south.
If he does feature, he'll be wearing the new Nike Hypervenom boots, and he admits he can't wait to get them on his feet and onto the pitch.
He wrote on his official Facebook page: "Here's my new #Hypervenom. Can't wait to wear them!"
Rooney has been in fine form in his old boots this season, scoring five goals in his ten league appearances. He also has one booking and one red card to his name.

The striker will be hoping to improve on that record as soon as he gets another chance, but he faces strong competition from his Red Devils teammates with Radamel Falcao and Robin van Persie also battling for a starting spot.
Louis van Gaal has previously stated that his captain is always likely to start however, and that suggests that if Rooney is fit, he will lead the line away from Old Trafford on Monday.
